The Food Truck Project

Kailey Cakes Bakery in Franklin is partnering with a non-profit organization called Daughters of the King in an outreach ministry food truck project. Daughters of the King Franklin is a 501 3c non-profit organization that was founded in 2014. They provide free weekly hot meals, a vegetable and non-perishable neighborhood food stand, backpack giveaways, food deliveries to elderly residents, plus so much more to lower income families in Middle Tennessee, primarily Williamson County. Currently they work out of churches and neighborhood schools to provide these services. Our dream is to use our food truck in this ministry to be able to deliver food and resources directly into the neighborhoods reaching those most in need. All donations will go toward the final stages of our launch to getting the truck out on the streets and then to directly providing services to families in need. This is a non-denominational Christian-based project, bringing members of many churches together for one caring purpose.
